Camp SPEAK 2023

Camp SPEAK 2023 held at Camp Twin Lakes Rutledge over the Labor Day weekend proved to be a great success. Participants immersed themselves in various activities such as adapted archery and drumming in the treehouse, utilizing AAC and other communication methods to facilitate interaction. The camp created an inclusive and dynamic environment, allowing both new and experienced AAC users to share knowledge and skills. Beyond the scheduled activities, the participants forged genuine connections and friendships. The camp was a unique blend of learning, engagement, and socializing, leaving everyone with lasting memories and a sense of camaraderie that extended beyond the event.
